Welcome to the suite of services, courses, products, and masterclasses (“Programs”) offered by WordSmith Studios, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in, purchasing, or engaging with any Program, product, or service, you (“Participant,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not participate in or purchase from our offerings.

1. Eligibility

Programs are designed for individuals aged 18 and older who are independent filmmakers or aspiring screenwriters. Our programs are built specifically to support indie creators and may differ significantly from unionized industry practices due to the nature of independent production.

By enrolling, you affirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Enrollment and Payment

All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase unless a payment plan is explicitly offered and selected.

By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the designated method for the total agreed-upon amount.

3. Access and Usage

Upon registration, you’ll receive access to program materials, live or recorded sessions, templates, worksheets, and related content.

These materials are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, republished, or distributed without written permission.

Any unauthorized use will result in immediate termination of access without refund.

4. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional environment in all sessions, community spaces, and communications.

Disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the program or service without a refund.
5. Refund & Resolution Policy

We do not offer refunds for digital courses, templates, downloads, or on-demand content once accessed.

However, we stand by the quality of our offerings. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, contact us at support@wordsmithstudios.com within 7 days of purchase. We will work with you to find a reasonable resolution or adjustment based on the circumstances.

For services involving scheduled calls or sessions:

No-call, no-show appointments will not be refunded and may impact your ability to rebook services in the future.

If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
6. Intellectual Property

All Program content, including videos, templates, processes, frameworks, and documents, are the intellectual property of WordSmith Studios, LLC.

You may not reproduce, resell, modify, or exploit any part of the Program or service materials without prior written consent.
7. Disclaimer

Programs are educational and creative in nature. We do not guarantee funding, distribution, or commercial success of any film or creative project.

Results vary based on your effort, preparedness, and external factors beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, WordSmith Studios, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of any Program, product, or service.
9. Privacy Policy
Personal information collected during registration or use of any service will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate access to any Program or service for violation of these Terms or conduct that disrupts the learning environment or business operations. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.
